This past Saturday, we had the opportunity to go to Adventure Landing for some mini golf, laser tag, go karts, and something we weren't expecting GAMES.
When we arrived at Adventure Landing we went in and found our way to the desk where they sell tickets and concessions. We told the girl who we were and why we were there. She went to meet the manager to see what he had for us. We were expecting the Quest Pass, which is one game of mini golf, go karts and laser tag. When the girl came back, she said the manager told her to give us a bracelet for 5 attractions plus 50 game tokens each. Adventure Landing-Jacksonville has 3 attractions, so we were able to pick what we wanted to do. We did mini golf, 2 laser tags and 2 go karts.
The kids wanted to start with mini golf. They had 2 mini golf courses. We chose the "Ship Wrecked" course. While we were at "hole 1" the manager came out to find us, because he was busy when we had arrived. He introduced himself to us and asked if we needed anything else. He told us to let him know if we needed anything or had any problems.
Mini golf was fun. It was fun seeing how different our son plays now, versus the last time we went mini golfing 4 years ago. My husband won our game of mini golf, with me in 2nd place, our son in 3rd, and our nephew in 4th.
While we were mini golfing I found this beautiful flower and I just had to get a photo of it.
Next, we headed to the go-karts. I didn't ride the go-karts, because I've been sick and today wasn't much better. By the time, we were done with mini-golfing I was just wore out. The boys had a blast on the go-karts. Our son couldn't drive one, because he is still too short, he needed to be 56 inches tall.
Now, we headed inside so the boys could do some laser tag. Once again, I did not participate, but from what I can tell....the LOVED it. The three of them were the only ones in the room playing.
Games, it's time for games. We had 200 tokens to use, and they lasted longer than I expected them too. Our son and nephew enjoyed the video type games more than anything. My husband and I did some games to win tickets while the boys did their video games for a while. Then the boys decided to try some games. After all of the token were done, we cashed in our tickets. We had 1,010 tickets so we divided it up between the two boys. Our son got himself a boomerang, slinky, basketball hoop and a candy. Our nephew got a slinky, yo-yo and a candy.
My husband and the boys still had 2 spots on their bracelets left, so they were able to do 2 more attractions. They did the go-karts and laser tag one more time. This time for laser tag they had a total of 18 people that all played together and they had a lot more fun with it.
Now, it was time for us to leave. We spent a total of 4 hours there. Everyone had a good time and we can't wait to go back. Hopefully, next time I won't be sick.
