Technical Theater education program for ages 11-19
In this exciting 3-week camp, participants will explore backstage and technical aspects of theatre, including lighting/projection design, sound design and engineering, prop and set design, and stage management. This camp coincides with All the World's a Stage, a classical theatre camp that will culminate in an adapted and abridged performance of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Technical Theatre Campers will directly apply the knowledge and skills they attain by assisting the Art and Culture Center's team of professional teaching artists with the design and execution of Romeo and Juliet.
